Welcome to Castlemeadow Care - Residential, Nursing and Specialist Dementia Care in Norfolk

Castlemeadow Care is a small but expanding family-run care group, founded in 1999, providing residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for elderly people in Norfolk.

We have three homes: Lincoln House Care Home located in the picturesque village of Swanton Morley, near East Dereham, The Paddocks Care Home in the centre of the market town of Swaffham and our newest state-of-the-art addition, The Mayfields Care Home, in Tharston near Long Stratton which opened in 2013. We are about to commence on a new build care home, St. John's House in Norwich, just off the golden triangle and due for completion in late spring 2016.

In 2011 we successfully completed our latest innovative development Woodgate Park at Swanton Morley, home to 24 spacious retirement bungalows for independent or assisted living. Due to its enormous success we are about to commence build on phase two with a further 25 two bedroom retirement bungalows, some with garages.

We believe in people, not patients. We provide everything our residents need in the widest sense: considerate care, a fulfilling life and support for their friends and families. We build relationships with every resident finding out about their lives, their interests, their likes and dislikes so that we can help them live their lives the way they choose to.

The heart of our service is 24-hour residential & nursing care with dedicated care staff. We care for our residents with expertise, sympathy and respect for their dignity – as if they were our own family. We listen to their comments and wishes about the running of the care home as we recognise that it is their home.

Our facilities are some of the few in Norfolk to offer standard residential care alongside specialised nursing care for complex cases, end-of-life care and dementia care. As well as offering long-term care, we are also able to look after your elderly relative on a short-term respite care basis to give you a well deserved break if needed.
